Could not recommend these guys highly enough. We were on a tight Christmas deadline with other works so they were under pressure to complete the job.The guys were on site when they said they would. Explained the process and answer all our questions. They took our base boards off so we could reuse them, they also gave us a contact to remove the duct work for ease of putting the new stumps in.We had indoor pets and when required access were careful with our pets.We now have doors that close and very minimal cracking.Thank you very much to Lee, Damian and the crew.Have a great year next year.

Our clubroom has had a wall which had dropped, leaving a 5 cm gap between the ceiling and the wall. Lee inspected under our large hall very thoroughly when he quoted, and gave sound advice. In comparison to the other company who quoted, who told us we didn't understand how buildings are built, and said they could do some work on the stumps but it wouldn't fix the problem.Lee chocked up the relevant stumps and the walls were raised leaving no gap at all with the ceiling. He also fixed some bouncing floorboards and overall did a fantastic, quick & efficient job. His quote was also the cheapest. We would absolutely recommend DJ Baker & Son for this work.

Had some cracked concrete stumps that needed replacing. Lee came over to quote and was thorough with his inspection. We had asked multiple companies to quote and many had to be encouraged to actually get under the house and look. With Lee, one of the stumps was very awkward to get to and that wasn’t even discussed as a problem. Very happy with his professionalism and quality of workmanship. His pricing was very competitive as well. If you don’t have time to get quotes, I recommend just going with DJ Baker and Son.

DJ baker and sons came out to look at our stumps after we had some concerns. They came out the next day. Got under the house and were completely transparent in telling us everything was fine and there is no need for worry. They didn’t charge us for a cent for the inspection. And told us things about the house we didn’t know. Thank you for being so honest and helpful with us.

Had a great experience with Lee, Kerri and their team. They were professional, courteous, helpful and timely in all of their dealings from quote (by recommendation) to completion, which resulted in a seamless job. 72 new stumps later I have a very SOLID house. Could not recommend highly enough. Thanks.

Lee was very helpful and informative on the initial assessment and actually looked under the house : unlike other companies ! His explanations to questions were clear, concise and delivered in a way that was not condescending : unlike other companies!Ben worked like a hero during the week of work required: arriving on schedule , explaining processes and working in a respectful manner (removed shoes and music not blasting)!! Thank you for helping us revive our lil’ol’ house!Sarah

We had all of our 130 stumps replaced on a low bungalow. Malcolm & Malcolm did an amazing job and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. They are very experienced in what they do and we had 100% confidence in their quality of work. Also they were patient and very nice to our sometimes nervous new puppy. :-)Thanks guys!Lee & Jen

Great job by Malcolm and Malcolm, our home in The Patch, was long overdue for re-stumping and leveling. The entire process ran smoothly, from the initial quoting to the clean up. The attention to detail and care taken was second to none. Malcolm's level of communication was very high and I was very reassured through the entire process. I would not hesitate to recommend this business

We had increasingly large cracks in an internal hallway wall and eventually door-frames sagging, doors not closing etc. We anticipated a big repair job but Ben and Cody spent three hours lifting the floor and repacking 6 existing concrete stumps in one row, while navigating around heating ducts and with limited space. Afterwards the cracks had completely closed up, the doors all fitted as new and we only have a few small paint touch-ups to make the house as-new.. Very happy with all aspects of the work, and the friendly service. Peter - Vermont South

We recently had our house re-stumped by the two malcolms, what two great guys! Both extremely hard working, respectful, trustworthy guys! They did a brilliant job on our house, walking us through the job and making sure we were happy. Both very friendly and always had time for our questions. Great price and great work and great time management! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!
